The Greater Quebec Movement
Making Unity A Choice

The Greater Quebec Movement (GQM) is a think tank and advocacy group founded in the wake of the 1995 referendum on Quebec sovereignty. Its goal is to foster meaningful dialogue between English and French-speaking Quebecers on issues related to integration. The GQM acknowledges that several competing ideologies have often overlooked the concept of a Greater Quebec, which, despite its regional, linguistic, and cultural divides, also gives rise to a broad, elastic form of identity that can be shared by all. We are proud to present our website and share the fruits of our nearly 30 years of reflection.
